Luckless Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray has re-injured his troublesome patella tendon – but doesn't need surgery.
Results of the scan on Murray's right knee show some damage to the tendon he ruptured playing for Hereford a year ago and the 28-year-old will return to Compton next week to begin treatment.
Discomfort forced him off during his comeback in the reserves against Birmingham 10 days ago, but the club stress the one-time England hopeful should make a full recovery.
We were hopeful it would only be precautionary, but the scan and a visit to the surgeon has shown re-injury to the patella tendon. -Steve Kemp

Police found the body of a person lying by a Dumpster in and alley between York and Josephine streets on 43rd Avenue, just a block south of I-70, at about 10:30 a.m. yesterday.
A witness on the scene, who said he discovered the body and alerted police, said the victim was a black woman, but police would not confirm yesterday what the victim's gender or race was, nor would they release the cause of death, saying that will be pending an autopsy.

Two people were injured tonight in an accident between a semi-tractor trailer and a car that shut down Interstate 25.
Traffic is being diverted from northbound I-25 to Sante Fe Drive, said Lt. Matt Murray, Denver police spokesman.
Two people were rushed to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Murray said.

Jones and Ward have undergone knee operations whilst Hill has been suffering from an ankle problem for almost three weeks.

Brighton have extended Gavin Hoyte's loan deal from Arsenal until the new year.
The young full-back has impressed for the Seagulls following his arrival in October, making six appearances in League One. Brighton manager Gus Poyet told the club's official website: "It will give us the time to see him properly. I think he will help us. He's young, he's happy here. This is a confident step in his career. He's come here and he's got stronger. I know he's willing to learn, and I know he can help us."

Wolves keeper Matt Murray has undergone a scan on his troublesome right knee as the club try to diagnose the latest blow to hit the luckless shotstopper.
Murray lasted just 23 minutes of his comeback from a ruptured patella tendon eight days ago in the reserves against Birmingham, almost a year since he last played.
Boss Mick McCarthy is hoping the news is good, saying: "He's been for a scan on his knee but I haven't had the results of that yet.
I need to speak to the physios and see what’s happening, so he won’t be playing tonight -Mick McCarthy

A Madison Heights teen suspected of breaking into houses and stealing valuables is in jail on a $150,000 cash bond.
Benjamin Joseph Sunde, 19, pleaded not guilty Monday to two counts of home invasion and one count of attempted home invasion before 44th District Court Judge Terrence Brennan.
Sunde was arrested Friday night after a homeowner in the 2100 block of Farnum Avenue scared away someone in her back yard.
